Her best-selling 2005 memoir The Scorpion's Sweet Venom inspired the hit 2011 Brazilian film Confessions of a Brazilian Call Girl and the 2016 TV series Me Chama de Bruna. She also appeared in pornographic films in Brazil and finished as second runner-up on the reality show A Fazenda in 2011.
