Sasha Grey is an American former adult-film performer who was active in the industry from 2006 until her retirement in 2011. She was named AVN and XRCO Female Performer of the Year for 2008 and was inducted into the AVN and XRCO Halls of Fame in 2023. She later built a mainstream career as an actress, notably starring in Steven Soderbergh's The Girlfriend Experience, as well as an author, musician and DJ.
